QED Bioscience has been designing and manufacturing antibodies for over 20 years, and throughout our history, our goals have remained unchanged: provide the best antibody products and services on the market and support our clients with the expertise and assistance they should expect from a full-spectrum antibody company like QED.
QED Bioscience develops novel monoclonal and polyclonal antibody products for our academic, biotechnology, diagnostic and pharmaceutical research clients. We develop these antibodies using the client’s small molecule, protein, or peptide targets, or by utilizing the target cDNA. We are a full-service corporation, and offer additional immunochemistry services such as purification and conjugation so that we can provide our clients with an antibody product that will work specifically within their system. We also develop monoclonal antibodies with pharmacological activity for enzyme neutralization and inhibition of receptor-ligand interactions, and anti-idiotypic antibodies.

Monoclonal Antibody Production
In vitro Monoclonal Antibody Production
QED offers the most cost effective means of producing large quantities of monoclonal antibodies in vitro. Your hybridoma cell lines are grown in our MAb production medium that is designed to enhance antibody production 5-25X above the levels obtained in conventional media, providing you with more antibody for your research dollar.

- Serum-supplemented* and serum-free medium formulations are available. *Serum used is 10% “Super Low” FBS, <0.5ug Ig/ml.
- Production is complete in 4-6 weeks.
- Antibodies are readily purified and contain no growth factors or cytokines.
- Antibody purification is available (see Antibody Purification).
Polyclonal Rabbit Antibody Production
QED provides custom antibody production in rabbits utilizing your protein, peptide, small molecule, plasmid, or other antigens.
Polyclonal Rabbit Antibody Production
- Two New Zealand White rabbits, 60-day protocol.
- Project initiation, housing, and husbandry.
- All immunizations, blood collections, and serum processing.
- Approximately 180-200ml of antiserum.
- ELISA testing of all bleeds against your antigen at project termination.
- 5mg of your antigen is required.
- Volume discounts are available.
